This project is a snapshot of the 450 year old tradition of Choral Evensong at the beginning of the 21st century, looking into the origins, reportoire and current state of this rich liturgical heritage. The documentary includes interviews with some of the country's finest church musicians, while all the music was recorded at actual services in cathedrals and churches around the country and overseas; none of it was recorded in a studio environment.
